Terms of use
Effective date: 1 October 2026
These terms apply when you use iadbe.org and when you apply for membership or partnership. By using the site you agree to them
What IADBE is
IADBE is a professional association that admits business experts for outstanding achievements, against published criteria and by a decision of its admissions committee. The association is not registered as a legal entity; it operates as an unregistered union under Article 39 of the Civil Code of Georgia.
Not legal advice
IADBE is not a law firm. Its officers, staff, committee members and partners are not attorneys and not accredited representatives, and they do not give legal advice or represent anyone before any government agency.
Membership, the certificate and any letter or document of the association confirm membership and the association’s own decision only. They do not guarantee any decision of a government agency, employer, court or other third party, and the association does not tell anyone whether membership will help in a particular application. For advice on your situation, consult a licensed attorney.
Applications and fees
An application is reviewed under the criteria published on the site on the day you apply. Applying is free. The application review fee is 1,500 Georgian lari (GEL): it covers the work of the committee and is paid after a positive decision and before the membership documents are issued, in lari or the equivalent in US dollars or euros. A candidate whose application is declined pays nothing. Payment details come by email; nothing is paid on this site. The association has no membership fees.
You confirm that what you send is true and that you have the right to send it. False evidence is a reason to decline an application or end a membership.
Membership documents
Membership documents are issued by the association. Membership has no term: the documents confirm it unless the association has ended the membership. Changing the documents, or using them after the membership has been ended, is not allowed.
Content of the site
Texts, the seal, the logo and the design of the site belong to IADBE. You may share links to the site; do not copy its content or use the seal or the name of the association without written permission.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, IADBE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the site, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to the association. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. If something goes wrong, write to us first at info@iadbe.org; most questions are solved that way.
Changes
We may update these terms. A new version applies from its effective date; an application already under review keeps the terms it was filed under.
