About the association
IADBE — the International Association of Distinguished Business Experts — admits people for outstanding achievements in business that others have recognised
Our purpose
Strong professionals often work in isolation: the people who could understand their work are in other companies and other countries. IADBE brings them together, and makes membership mean something by admitting people only against published criteria.
International from the start
Our first members come from Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and other countries of the region. The association is open to experts from any country.
How admission works
Published criteria
The criteria are on this site for anyone to read, before anyone applies
An admissions committee
Each application is reviewed by the admissions committee, which checks evidence, not recommendations
A written decision
Every candidate receives a decision in writing; admission is recorded in the committee’s minutes
A council
The council of the association sets the rules and approves the criteria
The membership of the council and the committee is set out in the association’s documents.
Legal details
Founded in 2007. The association is not registered as a legal entity; it operates as an unregistered union under Article 39 of the Civil Code of Georgia. It is governed by its charter — a mutual agreement of its members — which also sets the rules of admission.
